Rheological Characterization of Ground Tire Rubber Modified Asphalt Binders with Parallel Plate and Concentric Cylinder Geometries

Recently, scrap tire rubber-modified asphalt binders and pavements have been the preferred choice of state DOTs parties involved due to desirable engineering, as well economic environmental impacts. Rheological mechanical properties rubber modifications main focus researchers for last couple decades. This paper investigates rutting potential, fatigue cracking resistance, continuous performance grade (CPG) changes waste rubber-modified, original, aged binders. The CPG is determined at high, intermediate, low temperatures. A Delta T Critical comparison binder was carried out establish a relationship between measured parameters.
